Department of Sociology FISIP UMM has established some collaboration with many institutions in every level.

Regional Collaboration

Department of Sociology FISIP UMM has collaborated with Ikatan Sosiologi Indonesia (ISI) Malang Raya by organizing a lot of discussion forums, webinar and training related to Sociology and practical knowledge such as sociological teaching.

National Collaboration

Department of Sociology FISIP UMM has also establsihed cooperation with Department of Sociology UNESA (State University of Surabaya) in 2020 by exchanging teaching mobility each other. Another national collabiration has established with Institut Kapal Perempuan by organizing some discussion forums about women studies.

International Collaboration

International level has also been one of Department of Sociology FISIP UMM's goal. In international level, Department of Sociology FISIP UMM has delegated 4 students to join Exchange Student Program organized by FISIP UMM and College of Local Administration (COLA) Khon Kaen University, Thailand in 2019-2020.

Another collaboration has established with Centre for Policy Research and International Studies (CenPRIS) Universiti Sains Malaysia by organizing Nusantara Seminar Series "Understanding and Rethinking Our Society"  on:

2. Monday, October 19, 2020 (Speakers: Assoc Prof. Dr. Azeem Fazwan Ahmad Farouk & Rachmad K. Dwi Susilo, Ph.D)

Collaboration with CenPRIS USM has been continued by co-authoring a book entitled "Islamic Social Sciences Research Methodology" and published by UMM Press in 2021
